With Scorsese's new Rolling Stones doc en route, I thought I'd post video of 'The Weight' from The Last Waltz.  I always liked the way this scene looks - it's the only song in the film, I think, that's not from the concert, but some studio setup, Staples Singers in tow.

Sort of hilarious article from the NYT about the deluge of food Obama's been faced with recently on the campaign trail.  An excerpt:

Cheryl Burton offers the candidate a thick chocolate cake with white chocolate frosting. He looked at this thing, clearly a little worried; it’s only been 45 minutes since he was asked to inhale three varieties of chocolate.  “Oh man, that’s too decadent for me.”  He turns around to find a beaming waitress offering him a plastic container. Our trim candidate sighs and opens it up. There’s a burger oozing fat, those cheese fries, and brown onion rings. He shrugs, takes a ring and tosses it back.  Score one for the cholesterol lovers.
